Welcome to the home page of Dalbeattie Civic Daze, a Charity Registered in Scotland No. SC039656, based in the town of Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire, Dumfries & Galloway.

Our current Civic Daze event has now been running since 2007, and is going from strength to strength, with the 2011 event being the best and most talked about to date.

Enquiries with Dalbeattie Museum have revealed that 2012 is the 50th Anniversary of Dalbeattie Civic Week, upon which our current Civic Daze is based, which started in 1962, although  a community event did exist prior to that year.

For 2012 our Committee is hoping to bring back some names from the past. We intend to make 2012 unforgettable.  Watch this space!!
